My Passion
As a consultant, I prefer to deal with large change projects that have a comprehensive and profound impact on the entire organization. I am interested in sorting out and solving tricky and seemingly difficult situations. I like to make things “work”, both by designing a viable transformation architecture and by pragmatically implementing measures to improve cooperation. Here and there, my preference for what is feasible and my pronounced solution orientation are of great help to me.
My many years of experience in international project management have led me to successively work on improving the interaction and learning of globally distributed, virtual teams. The special demands on managers in this situation are therefore well known to me both from my own management experience and from my consulting practice.
As a personal coach, I support specialists and managers in “sorting” and reorienting themselves in difficult and conflict-laden change situations.
In addition to my consulting activities, I am committed to diversity in companies, especially women in management positions, and to the compatibility of career and family, in the networks Working Moms and net4tec.
My Foundation
After studying business administration at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, I completed the international trainee program of a mechanical and plant engineering group.
After founding an in-house start-up for e-business consulting, I moved to an international technology consultancy, where I held various specialist and management positions over several years. As a trained process consultant (CMMI, ITIL), project manager (according to PMI) and business coach (DCV), I was most recently responsible for change management consulting for major customers in Central & Eastern Europe.
Since 2014 I am partner at Upgrade.
